Purpose of the Friends of the School
The Friends of the School at Lincoln Primary comprises a dedicated group of parents who workhard to:- Develop social connections between home and school.
 - Foster social connections within the school community.
 - Make new families feel welcome.
 - Coordinating community use of the school pool during summer.
 - Raise funds to provide the school with additional resources that aren't funded in anyother way, including sunscreen for classrooms, sports team uniforms, support for theschool band and many other things.

Friends of the School meet at least once at term at 7pm on a Monday, and meetings include representatives from the Principal, Teachers and the Board of Trustees. See the school newsletter for meeting dates. We are always keen for parents to come along to our meeting to find out more, and would love new members to join us.

Current Friends of the School Initiatives
Scholastic Orders - Affordable quality books for your children and free books for the school library! You will at one stage or another have received a book catalogue from the children at school - this is organised and run by the Friends of the School. When families order books from this great catalogue, the school receives credits which the school librarian can spend buying new books for the school library. Last year the school library got more than $1500 worth of freebooks. This is a great way to support the school and your children's education.

Secondhand Uniform Shop
The Friends of the School uniform shop sells new school hats, and secondhand uniforms. It is open every Friday during term time from 2.45pm to 3.15pm, and is located in the side of the school hall by the senior playground.
Please note: we can only accept cash. Any uniform still in good order and no longer needed would be gratefully received. Items can be donated to the Friends of the School to sell, or sold on your behalf, with 20% of the proceeds going to the Friends of the School.  All uniform items can be dropped at the uniform shop or the school office. Alternatively contact Melissa James on 021 140 9725 or

Clothing Bin
The blue clothing bin is located on Boundary Rd near the High School driveway. Any secondhand clothing or soft household goods would be greatly appreciated. The secondhand clothing bin is a great little earner for the Friends of the School, so keep up the good work, and keep feeding our bin!
